Today, Aliya Johnson Roberts is the Executive Director and Co-owner of two early childhood education programs, Pratt Street Learning Center and Bustleton Learning Center in Philadelphia, PA, serving 250 children.
AJ Roberts has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Educational Leadership from Arcadia University.
She studied for her doctoral degree for 1 year before pursuing coaching and consulting clients, which has become a great passion.
LEGACY
AJ Roberts is a Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Businesses alumni.
She is a 2nd generation childcare business owner, carrying the torch lit by her mother over 40 years ago. She is in the process of developing and passing the torch to her daughter, the 3rd generation, and now President of our non-profit organization, Legacy's Outreach.
Aliya was integral in scaling the business to multi-seven figure revenue with multiple funding streams, serving over 250 children and their families each year. She also helped birth another family-run funding stream, the center's space rental business, which helps further serve the community and provide a safe space for events.
